Kernel-Panic  is a 2-player co-op game about procedural miscommunication under pressure.

One player sits at the terminal. They can type. They cannot ask questions. The other holds the manual. They can read. They cannot touch the keyboard.

Together you're managing BOILER_OS — a Victorian-era archival engine with a corruption problem and a Janitor process that is slowly, inevitably, preparing to wipe everything. You have ten minutes.

The terminal lies. Output glitches, files disappear, commands fail silently. The only reliable source of truth is the manual — if you can communicate fast enough.

The manual is incomplete. Parts contradict each other. Parts are intentionally inscrutable. "Any apparently helpful instruction is also a test."

The Janitor doesn't care. It's always running. SCAN → PREPARE → COMMIT. You can delay it, if you know the right sequence, and if you do it calmly, and if you don't blink.

How to play:

  • One player runs the game
  • The other opens Manual in a browser (included in the download)
  • Talk to each other. Don't rush.

Controls: Keyboard only — it's a terminal.

"dev note: The puzzles are a bit weird im working on them its not fully implemented and can be confusing I will be updating this project utilizing every aspect of the manual ; so ... sorry if it was a lil janky"
